High Protein, High Fibre Fruit Dip Recipe

Looking for a healthier fruit dip?
Instead of using the store-bought fruit dips, try making this simple high protein, high fibre dip!

It's base is chickpeas for a healthy boost of fibre and protein. One serving contains 6.7g of fibre and 8g of protein!

Yield: 6 servings (1/4 cup)
Ingredients
1 cup chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 tbsp rolled oats
2 tbsp brown sugar
1.5 tsp vanilla
1.5 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp peanut butter (or other nut butter)
1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
Equipment required
Food processor
1 cup measuring cup
1/4 cup measuring cup
1 tbsp measuring spoon
1 tsp measuring spoon
Steps
1. Add all the ingredients to the food processor. Mix until smooth.
2. Eat immediately or store in the fridge. Eat within 1 week.
Enjoy with apple slices or other cut up fruit!
